What is an Op-Ed article?

Op-Ed is a type of article in which people usually comment on the topics covered in a given newspaper by expressing their opinions or thoughts.

These articles can be written by both journalists and ordinary readers. They are commonly around 600-700 words long and usually are printed opposite the editorial page.
